The Roman Catholic Diocese of Barrancabermeja (Latin: Barrancabermeien(sis)) is a diocese located in the city of Barrancabermeja in the Ecclesiastical province of Bucaramanga in Colombia.

  • April 2, 1928: Established as Territorial Prelature of Río Magdalena from the Diocese of Nueva Pamplona and Diocese of Socorro y San Gil
  • April 18, 1950: Promoted as Apostolic Vicariate of Barrancabermeja
  • October 27, 1962: Promoted as Diocese of Barrancabermeja
