San Cristobal Valley . The range is an extension southeastwards of the sameblock fault ed range, theMohawk Mountains .The mountain range is amongst an eleven mountain sequence of trending ranges and valleys in the hottest region of the southwest Sonoran Desert. This southwestern Arizona region is on the northern perimeter of the
Gran Desierto de Altar -(part of the Pinacate volcanic field, and region containing thebiosphere reserve , called thePinacate Reserve ).The Bryan Mountains are in the central-east
