Daniel Heiman is a Swedish vocalist. He is best known for his time with Lost Horizon,[1] with whom he recorded their first two albums. After leaving Lost Horizon he performed as a session vocalist for Crystal Eyes (for a single album) and founded a new band called Heed.[1] Heed released a single album in 2005, titled "The Call", prior to disbanding in September 2008. Daniel is known for his wide vocal range, being able to sing notes from the G2 below low C to the E♭6 above Soprano C.

Heiman performed guest vocals on the song "Drowned in the Crossway Water" from the 1997 album "Shadowsouls Garden" by the Swedish melodic death metal Fatal Embrace. Daniel was also a guest vocalist on "The Plague" a sophomore album for the melodic death metal band Ablaze My Sorrow. Heiman also performed all the vocals on the song "Inner Peace" from the 2008 album "Chapter II: Aftermath" by the Swedish power metal band Harmony, as well as a duet with Jan Thore Grefstad on the song "From the Cradle to the Brave" from the 2003 album "From the Cradle to the Brave" by the Norwegian power metal band Highland Glory. He has also been in the bands Fierce Conviction and Destiny and performs lead vocals for the alternative rock band Lavett.
