Mountains and rivers of Southern country (Hán tự: , Vietnamese: "Nam quốc sơn hà") is a Chinese-language poem said to have been written in 1077 by the Vietnamese general Lý Thường Kiệt (), asserting the sovereignty of Vietnam's rulers over its land. This poem is considered the first Vietnamese Declaration of independence.

:Over Mountains and Rivers of the South, reigns the Emperor of the South,:As it stands written forever in the Book of Heaven.:How dare those barbarians invade our land?:Your armies, without pity, will be annihilated.
