Joan Juliet Buck

Joan Juliet Buck is an American born journalist. She was the editor-in-chief of French "Vogue" from 1994-2001. Before that, she was an editor for British Vogue. She was associate editor of "The Observer". A contributing editor for "Vanity Fair" since 1988, she began her career at Conde Nast Publications in 1968 writing book reviews.

Buck is the daughter of film producer Jules Buck and actress Joyce Gates.

She is married to the author John Heilpern.
