Damovo was formerly the enterprise services division of the Swedish telecoms group Ericsson.[1]
In September 2004, Damovo's Australian operations were sold to Telstra.[2]
In June 2007, following non-payment by the Italian National Police and the loss of several major customers in the UK, the Damovo Group completed a refinancing plan, reducing bondholder debt. The former majority stakeholder Apax absorbed losses of over $100m.[3][4][5] At this time, Damovo Group appointed a new executive management team with Mike Parton as the company's Chief Executive Officer.
In 2011, Damovo UK was announced as one of the country's top 100 apprenticeship employers.[6][7][8][9]
