The Skanksters

The Skanksters was a popular Canadian reggae/dub/ska band from Toronto, Ontario, active from 1992 to 2002. They released one album as The Skanksters, "Dub Cookery" (1998). In 2003, The Skanksters evolved into Boogiewall Soundsystem, a Toronto-based dub collective, and released an album "Super My Own Band" (2003). The Skanksters' core members were Tanya Kornobis (vocals), Lisa Wilby (keyboards), Sean Richards (guitar), John McKinstry (bass), and Mark Matthews (drums).
