List of 1950s one-hit wonders in the United States

This is a list of musical artists whose one hit came out in the 1950s.

The list contains recording artists who reached the Top 40 of the U.S. pop chart (Billboard "Best Sellers In Stores" from January 1, 1955 to November 12, 1955, Billbord "Top 100" from November 12, 1955 to August 4, 1958 and Billboard Hot 100 from August 4, 1958 on) with just one single. An asterisk is shown when the date the song entered the pop chart is shown instead of its peak date. Those in "italics" are artists with only one Top 40 hit, but either had other songs chart on genre-specific charts or have had success and influence within their genre or the annals of popular music.
