Keith Rayner AO was the 11th Anglican Archbishop of Melbourne. He was born on
22 November 1929 and educated at the Church of England Grammar School (nowAnglican Church Grammar School ), Brisbane and theUniversity of Queensland [Who’s Who, 2007” London, AC Black, 2006 ISBN 200085002X] . His first post was as asChaplain at St Francis' Theological College, Brisbane followed byQueensland incumbencies at Sunnybank and Wynnum (during which time he completed hisdoctoral thesis on the history ofAnglicanism within the area [ [http://www.anglicanarchives.org.au/raynerthesis.htm Thesis abstract] ] ).
