The Institute of Information Technology Advancement (IITA) is a government organization working Ministry of Information and Communication (South Korea)(MIC) for R&D in the field of IT.
Many IT projects in Korea are funded by IITA.
IITA Scholarship
IITA also gave [http://www.korea4u.org scholarships] to the international students studying in Korean universities for IT & Electronics majors. It is 2 years for masters and 4 years for Phd. It is offered twice the year (Spring and Fall semesters). To apply in the scholarship, the students are supposed to apply directly to the universities. It covers tuition fee and all other expense with stipend.
