Parkfield Cedars School inDerby and graduated fromDurham University with a BSc Degree inZoology . She presentedBBC 's "Tomorrow's World " onBBC1 between 1974 and 1994. She has since made guest appearances on various TV shows, and has done someTV commercial s.
