"Liotella polypleura" is a species of minute sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Cyclostrematidae.

Distribution

This species is endemic to New Zealand including its Sub-Antarctic Islands.

Habitat

This snail is found at depths of between 20 and 90 m.

hell description

The shell is minute, pale buff, depressed-, and is widely umbilicated, strongly sculptured with prominent, sharp, flexuous axial ribs, 16 to 18 on the last whorl. The interstices are smooth.

Shell height is up to 0.6 mm, and the width is up to 0.9 mm.
