Balsam Lake Mountain is a mountain located in Ulster County, New York. The mountain is the westernmost of the 35 Catskill High Peaks.Balsam Lake Mtn. is flanked to the east by Graham Mountain, and to the west by Mill Brook Ridge.

Balsam Lake Mountain stands within the watershed of the East Branch of the Delaware River, which drains into Delaware Bay.The northern slopes of Balsam Lake Mtn. drain into the headwaters of Mill Brook, thence into the East Branch of the Delaware at Pepacton Reservoir.The southern slopes of Balsam Lake Mtn. drain into Beaver Kill, thence into the East Branch.

Balsam Lake Mountain is within the Balsam Lake Mountain Wild Forest of New York's Catskill State Park.
