Love You To Death is a Canadian pop punk band, signed to Affluence Music Group.

History

Love You To Death was previously the band The Pettit Project. They changed their name as of February 2008.

With seven releases over the past seven years, LYTD members have included musicians that went on to be in Avril Lavigne’s band, Not By Choice and Boys Night Out. The band has also become a major player on the web with over 119,000 plays on MySpace, 150,000 on MP3.com and 240,500 on PureVolume.

Love You To Death has played with several established bands over the years. In 2002 they were featured on the Vans Warped Tour on the Drive Thru Records stage. They have played with Fefe Dobson on several occasions, including a mini tour alongside Hedley in the summer of 2006. LYTD has also appeared with the similar-sounding pop group Hellogoodbye.

They have also appeared on the television show Radio Free Roscoe ("These Bossy Boots are Made for Walking").

As of February 2008 The Pettit Project changed their name to Love You To Death, as a response to their frustration with people being unable to pronounce or spell their name properly.
