The shells are small, like "
Lissotesta " in shape, but more solid, and with more or less well developed spiral sculpture, ranging from fine lirae to rather strong cords. Theprotoconch is bluntly rounded of about one and a half smooth whorls. Typically, there is a rounded swelling behind the outer lip, and a slight ledge within the peristome, that suggests the presence of a stout operculum.pecies within the genus "Lissotestella"
