"Lissotestella caelata" is a species of minute sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Cyclostrematidae.

Distribution

This species is endemic to New Zealand, found around the Three Kings Islands.

Habitat

This snail is found at depths of about 260 m.

hell description

The shell is minute, globose, rather solid, white, sculptured with strong rounded spiral cords, with narrow interspaces. The aperture is sub-circular, and the peristome is thin edged, but with a slight swelling behind the outer lip.

The shell height is up to 0.85 mm, and the width is up to 0.8 mm.
