The Elk Derry Senior Club Football Championship 2008 was the 2008 instalment of the annual Derry Senior Football Championship run by the Derry GAA. Glenullin were the current holders - beating Bellaghy in the 2007 final at Celtic Park. The tournament is due to run from 8 May to 5 October. The winners of the John McLaughlin Cup will go on to represent Derry in the 2008 Ulster Senior Club Football Championship.

For the second year, the Derry Championship was organised on a round robin, group basis with the 16 teams divided into four groups, seeded by the previous year's finishing league positions. Each club in a group plays each other once with the top two in each group advancing to the quarter-finals. All matches will be played at neutral venues.
