The Nationwide Conference season of 2001-02 was the twenty-third season of the Conference National.

1 The points system: 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw and 0 points for losing.

2 After Boston United won the Conference National they were found guilty of financial irregularities during the season. However, they were allowed to keep their title and promotion to the Football League despite this. For details of their punishment see Conference National 2007-08.

3 Scarborough had 1 point deducted.
