Shipley is a village and civil parish in the Horsham District of West Sussex, England. It lies just off the A272 road 6 miles (9.6km) north east of Storrington.

The western River Adur flows through the village, where it meets a significant tributary, Lancing Brook.

The parish has a land area of 3125.6 hectares (7720 acres). In the 2001 census 1075 people lived in 448 households of whom 596 were economically active.

Shipley was home to Hillaire Belloc [ [http://www.spartacus.schoolnet.co.uk/PRbelloc.htm Schoolnet on Belloc] ] who in 1906 purchased Kings Land, with a house, five acres and Shipley Windmill.
