Kathleen Herles

Kathleen Herles (born November 13, 1990) is an American voice actress, best known for the voice of Dora in "Dora the Explorer".

Herles was born in Queens, New York City to Peruvian parents. She has studied ballet, tap, jazz, guitar, and voice acting. As of writing she takes piano lessons. She was discovered by talent manager Shirley Grant of Shirley Grant Management at a talent and modeling convention when she was 6 years old.

Ms. Herles is also a self-proclaimed Pentecostal who performed at the UPCI National Youth Congress 2007 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Herles took part in many high school productions including Aunt Em in The Wiz, the Principle in Footloose and an orphan in Thoroughly Modern Millie. She also participated in the school's talent showcase, singing "No One" in 2008.
