Peregrine Alexander Nelson Hood (born 30 August 1974) is the Heir Apparent to the Duke of Bronté and Viscount Bridport. He is the son of Alexander Nelson Hood, 4th Viscount Bridport and 7th Duke of Bronté, and his first wife Linda Jacqueline Paravicini. He is a direct descendant of William Nelson, 1st Earl Nelson, elder brother of Horatio Nelson, 1st Viscount Nelson
Education
Hood was educated at Eton College,and Oxford University and has earned a Master in Business Administration from INSEAD.
Work
Hood works as a bond trader, from mid-2007 at BNP Paribas in London UK ["News in Brief", Euroweek.com, 15 June 2007, accessed 6 March 2008] , but formerly with his father's eponymously named company in Geneva.

Family life
Hood's half-brother by his father is Hon. Anthony Nelson Hood, (b. 7 January 1983). He also has two half sisters from his mothers 2nd marriage in 1983 to Michael John James George Robert Howard, 21st Earl of Suffolk, 14th Earl of Berkshire. Lady Phillipa Howard born January 6th 1985 and Lady Natasha Howard born March 28th 1987.
