Ursula Nordstrom (1910 - 1988) was director of Harper's Department of Books for Boys and Girls from 1940 to 1973. Nordstrom also authored the 1972 children's book "The Secret Language".

Among the authors she edited were Laura Ingalls Wilder, Margaret Wise Brown, and E. B. White.
