Li Xiaopeng (footballer)

Li Xiaopeng (李宵鵬, born 20 June 1975) is a Chinese soccer player who played for Shandong Luneng of the Chinese Super League. He also played for China in the 2002 World Cup Korea/Japan. He retired in 2006 and is scheduled to join the coach team of the China national football team.

He scored the first goal for Shandong Luneng with a lob from 40 meters during ACL 2005 in the 7-2 second leg loss against Al-Ittihad (Jeddah). He was well-regarded in China for his good ball-control and vision in passing. During the 2-1 home win against Yokohama F. Marinos, his long distance pass allowed Zheng Zhi to score the second goal.
