Shukhov Rotunda

Shukhov Rotunda, round exhibition pavilion for the All-Russia Exhibition in Nizhny Novgorod of 1896 with lattice hanging covering (tensile gridshell - lattice roof, Russian Empire patent №1894 dated March 12, 1899) and the World First Membrane roof (in center of the Rotunda). Designed by Vladimir Shukhov in 1895. The diameter of Rotunda - 68 meters, height - 16 meters, the diameter of steel Membrane - 25 meters.
