Reid Baer

Reid Baer is an award-winning American writer in poetry.

Early career

Reid studied at Brigham Young University in Theatre. He lived in New York City and worked for Benton & Bowles Advertising. He has also worked as a newspaper reporter, covering the crime beat and city government, for Media General. Awards

*Baer won a national playwrighting award from Eastern Illinois University for “A Lyon’s Tale", which has had staged productions in New York, Utah, Illinois and California.

Personal

He was born on November 21, 1953 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He has lived in Indiana, New York, California, Idaho, Ohio, and Venezuela. He currently resides in Reidsville, North Carolina. Baer has been married to wife Patricia for eight years, and he has three grown children.
