Scott Brothers (locomotive manufacturers)

Scott Brothers in Christchurch, New Zealand had an engineering works and iron foundry that supplied 11 steam tank locomotives to the New Zealand Government Railways in 1874. They are the only New Zealand manufacturer apart from A & G Price of Thames to have supplied the NZR with steam locomotives, and they manufactured viaducts for the Midland Railway. Their Atlas Works in Manchester Street, Christchurch also manufactured coal kitchen ranges.
