Method of Infection/Variants

Malware Alarm may be download by the Zlob trojan. When executed, it may run false scans for Spyware and give exagerated claims about its finds, in order to persuede the user to purchase the product. Symptoms of infection

In a typical infection, the desktop wallpaper may be modified and advertisements are displayed urging the user to buy Malware Alarm. Upon clicking on the message, When you click on the warning box on your screen Malware Alarm opens their site and may attempt to install more adware on the target pc without your consent.

Removal
