Jansen is a village in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. It is located along Highway 16 150km East of Saskatoon. Jansen is home to Zion Lutheran Church, and Temple Baptist Church. Jansen has a Hall/Recreation Complex as well as a five pin Bowling Alley. The C.M Buckaway Library is Jansen's only Library and has free internet access. The library is open Monday and Thursday from 5:00PM to 9:00PM.

Jansen has a thriving Kinsmen and Kinette club. Each Year they host events in Jansen such as Bianual Community Suppers called Steak Fry's and Canada Day Celebrations.

Children are bussed to Lanigan for Primary and Secondary School.

Notible People

Hockey Players Brian Propp, Byron Briske, and Shannon Briske all lived in Jansen during their childhood.
Author and Poet C.M. Buckaway for which the local library is named lived in Jansen.
