According to the
United States Census Bureau , the town has a total area of 0.1square mile s (0.3km² ), all of it land. Named for Ambrose Lambert who owned the original townsite, Lambert is contiguous to Yewed to its east. Lambert was a US Post Office from 1901 until 1952.
