Kilocalorie per mole

Kilocalorie per mole

Kilocalorie per mole is the quotient of a kilocalorie and a mole. It is a derived unit of energy per Avogadro’s number of particles, where energy is measured in units of 1000 calories.

Physical quantities measured in kcal·mol-1 include:

* Heat of vaporization
* Heat of fusion
* Ionization energy
* "Etc."
