As of the
census GR|2 of 2000, there were 375 people, 148 households, and 111 families residing in the village. Thepopulation density was 786.3 people per square mile (301.6/km²). There were 169 housing units at an average density of 354.4/sq mi (135.9/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 98.13% White, 0.53% African American, 1.07% Native American, and 0.27% from two or more races.There were 148 households out of which 31.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 55.4% were married couples living together, 12.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 25.0% were non-families. 22.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 11.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.53 and the average family size was 2.86.
In the village the population was spread out with 22.7% under the age of 18, 8.3% from 18 to 24, 32.3% from 25 to 44, 24.8% from 45 to 64, and 12.0% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 37 years. For every 100 females there were 95.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 88.3 males.
The median income for a household in the village was $29,500, and the median income for a family was $33,750. Males had a median income of $27,500 versus $22,083 for females. The
