Theodore Jennings

Theodore W. Jennings is an American scholar, theologian and author. Jennings presently serves as the Acting Academic Dean and Professor of Biblical and Constructive Theology at "Chicago Theological Seminary".

In 1964 he received his B.D. from Duke University, and in 1967, he received his Ph.D. from Emory University. Jennings taught for three years at "Seminario Metodista (Methodist Seminary)" in Mexico City. He is an ordained Methodist minister. Jennings' scholarly work and publications have focused on such topics as methodism, biblical interpretation, liberation theology, and LGBT rights.
