Theodore W. Jennings is an American scholar, theologian and author. Jennings presently serves as the Acting Academic Dean and Professor of Biblical and Constructive Theology at "
Chicago Theological Seminary ".In 1964 he received his
B.D. fromDuke University , and in 1967, he received hisPh.D. fromEmory University . Jennings taught for three years at "Seminario Metodista (Methodist Seminary)" in Mexico City. He is an ordainedMethodist minister. Jennings' scholarly work and publications have focused on such topics as methodism, biblical interpretation, liberation theology, andLGBT rights.
