Jason Koxvold (born in 1977 in Belgium) is a British artist and director based in New York City in the United States.

His family moved to England shortly after he was born. Working in photography, interactive media and film, his work has been broadly recognized. His clients have included Toyota, Motorola, Winterfresh, the United Nations, Yahoo!, MetLife, Kodak and many more. Early in his career he raced motorcycles in Scotland, England and California, finishing fifth in the 2000 SACU 125cc Grand Prix championship.

Awards

Koxvold has been both recipient and judge of multiple awards, including judging the 2007 Emmy Awards, and receiving ADDY, MIXX, Adtech and One Show awards for his work in advertising. His short films and music videos have been screened at South by Southwest, the Los Angeles Film Festival, Hawaii International Film Festival, San Francisco Independent Film Festival and the RES (magazine) Los Angeles Screenings. Collaborators

Some of Koxvold's most successful music videos were created for San Francisco band Citizens Here and Abroad (now separated). He has collaborated with multimedia artists Steve Lambert, Noah Kalina, and Adam Marks; participated in PSST! Pass It On. Family

Koxvold's father, Sverre Fraas, is Norwegian. His mother, Franca, is Italian, born in Venice.

Koxvold's paternal grandfather was renowned artist and businessman Leif Fr. Koxvold, inventor of the Jiffy Pot and, later in life, a well-known sculptor and painter. Leif Koxvold also raced cars - in rally and road competition - and was the creator of Lidartunet, a working farm and living museum in Valdres, Norway, and Herang Handverk, a factory producing limited quantities of Norwegian folk art.

His mother's father, Aldo, is still known in his hometown of Chioggia as a member of the Italian Resistance Movement of World War II.
