Lucas Cichon

Lucas Cichon (born 1959) is an American fine art photographer who specializes in black and white photographs. Best known for his large scale photographs mounted using metal, electrical tubing, and other industrial materials.

Lucas Cichon was educated at Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design.

His subject matter is often portraits of artists or photographs of artists studios. Starting in 2001 he started photographing western landscapes all with a sense of “take nothing but photographs” appreciation for the land.

In 2005 and 2006 Lucas' opened a gallery in Taos, New Mexico. He spent the two years producing work in and around Taos, NM.
