Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard

Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard are British artists who create re-enactments of cultural and art historical events. Forsyth was born in Manchester in 1973, Pollard in Newcastle in 1972. [ [http://www.iainandjane.com/about/index.shtml iainandjane.com] ]

They have restaged David Bowie's farewell performance as Ziggy Stardust, [ [http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qn4158/is_19980710/ai_n14177240 "The Independent", July 10, 1998.] ] a 1973 video work by Vito Acconci (working with rap artist Plan B) and a 1968 work by Bruce Nauman. In 2008 they directed the promo video for the Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds singles Dig, Lazarus, Dig!!! [ [http://www.thewire.co.uk/articles/519/ "The Wire", Issue #287, January 2008] ] , "More News From Nowhere" and "Midnight Man".
