Casey was a vocal campaigner against Asian immigration to Australia. Said Casey:
"The conspiracy exists among prominent politicians to stifle any debate on the immigration issue, and among ethnic leaders in the community to diffuse any opposition to unlimited Asian immigration. The facts are plain to see. The majority of Australians are against it, but nothing is done to ensure their wishes are fulfilled. I spoke out and was vilified. Professor Blainey spoke out and lost his job.
John Howard spoke out and was dumped as opposition leader.Bruce Ruxton spoke out and was labelled a racist looney."cite book |last=Hage |first=Ghassan |authorlink= |title=White Nation: Fantasies of White Supremacy in a Multicultural Society |origdate= |origyear=2000 |origmonth= |url=http://books.google.com/books?id=t6SqxrAZp_IC&cad=0 |format= |accessdate= |accessyear= |accessmonth= |edition= |series= |volume= |date= |year= |month= |publisher=Routledge |location= |language= |isbn=0415929237 |oclc= |doi= |id= |pages= |chapter= |chapterurl=http://books.google.com/books?id=t6SqxrAZp_IC&pg=PA220&lpg=PA220&dq=%22john+howard%22+%22geoffrey+blainey%22&source=web&ots=YjpaD5NPuG&sig=80v72FWeVO1pORmK85Y4kpvqvPY&hl=en&sa=X&oi=book_result&resnum=6&ct=result#PPA220,M1 ]In 1991, Ron Casey was involved in a live on-air brawl with singer
