Elisabeth 'Liesbeth' Tuijnman (1943) is the current mayor of Overbetuwe in the Netherlands. She obtained a bachelor's degree in education. Before becoming mayor in 2001, she had served as mayor to several other municipalities like the rural community of Norg (1985-1996) and after that Papendrecht. Mayor Tuijnman is a member of the liberal conservative People's Party for Freedom and Democracy.
