Dato Vijay Eswaran

Dato' Vijay Eswaran (born. Oct 7, 1960) is the Group MD and CEO of the [http://www.qi-ltd.com QI Group of companies] , headquartered in Hong Kong. Apart from being a well known business leader, he is also an accomplished author and inspirational speaker.

In September 1998, Dato’ Vijay, a Malaysian citizen of Indian Origin, co-founded a direct sales company in the Philippines that operated on the relatively new platform of e-commerce. With businesses that include among other things, holidays, resorts, luxury products, wellness, telecommunication services, TV stations in Europe and partnerships with international organisations such as [http://www.fifa.com FIFA] , [http://www.olympic.org International Olympic Committee] , United Nations- FAO program and many more. In late 2006, he received the honorary title of Knight Commander of The Most of The Crown of Pahang, Honorary Distinguished Order Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang by His Royal Highness The Sultan of Pahang, Malaysia in recognition of his contribution to the economic growth of the State of Pahang. Apart from the work by the Foundation, Vijay Eswaran has made significant personal donations to individuals and charities around the world that range from orphanages, spiritual and cultural organisations and individuals in need.
