The Al Nuaim or Al Noaim (Arabic: النعيم) tribe is large Arab bedouin tribe, based primarily in the Arab states of the Persian Gulf and Al Sham Desert. Therefore, Al Nuaimi tribe can be found in many countries, such as Qatar, UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, KSA, Syria, Jordan and Iraq. In Gulf States, the tribe is divided to many branches such as Al Fahad, Al Sayad, Al Rahma, Al Hiyey, Al Jaber, Al Ali , Al Shamsi , Al Majed , Al Muhanna, Al Alaaq and Al bukhraiban .
The tribe is the ruling family in Ajman, UAE. In Bahrain, the traditional home of the tribe has been Halat Nuaim island, Nowadays most of AlNoaimi families live south the kingdom in west riffa. The Al Nuaim tribe was one of the several bedouin tribes to move to Bahrain in 1783 after the Al Khalifa conquered the island. Also there are few families of AlNuaimi tribe that used to live in Bahrain has moved back to Qatar where the families of this tribe are widley spread in Qatar.
