Elly de Groen-Kouwenhoven (born
28 December 1949 inThe Hague as Elly Kouwenhoven, and now generally known as Els de Groen) is a Dutch politician andMember of the European Parliament . She is a member ofEuropa Transparant , which sits with the Greens/EFA party group, and sits on theEuropean Parliament 's Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs and its Committee on Petitions.She is also a member of the delegation to the EU–
Bulgaria Joint Parliamentary Committee and a substitute for the delegation for relations with the countries of south-east Europe.Career
