Sam Plank

Sam Plank is a popular British local radio broadcaster, famous for his talk-based radio programmes in Staffordshire, The Potteries and Stoke-on-Trent on BBC Radio Stoke and Signal 2.

Sam Plank appeared on Leek based community radio station Moorlands Radio in November and December 2006.

Sam is now a member of local radio group Trent Radio who are set to launch Focal Radio, an independent local radio station based in Ceramica, Burslem on the air.

Sam used to present his radio programmes with Verity Hilton (his wife and producer). Verity will now be Focal Radio's Station Manager. She has worked in Radio and Television since 1981 - starting at Radio Stoke where she stayed for 20 years before moving to Signal Radio. She has also worked for Red Rose, Radio City and spent 6 months producing for the BBC at the National Garden Festival in 1986.
