The first is Alpha Chapter located at Vincennes University and the second is Gamma Chapter at Ball State University.

History
Delta Gamma Iota was founded in 1965[1] at Vincennes University in Vincennes, Indiana. In early 1972, Delta Gamma Iota went national as Sigma Phi Epsilon. By 1992, Sigma Phi Epsilon pulled out all charters at two-year schools because of revenue. The remaining Brothers re-founding themselves as Delta Gamma Iota on December 5, 1993. The Beta Chapter was founded Nov 11th 1995 at Indiana University South Bend. In the Fall of 1997, two Brothers from the Alpha Chapter transferred to Ball State University to finish their education. A few more Brothers from Alpha Chapter enrolled at Ball State and these men began to recruit the Founding Fathers of a new Chapter. The Gamma Chapter of Delta Gamma Iota was founded on February 7, 1998. Ball State recognized the Chapter on February 17, 1999.
Mission
To equip young men with the skills necessary to excel in the increasingly demanding world.
Leadership- In order to succeed in any career path, leadership is an essential skill. Delta Gamma Iota fosters this through its own system of self-governance.
Education- A strong education is fundamental to realizing ones potential. Delta Gamma Iota assists its members with study groups and additional tutoring.
Friendship- Members of Delta Gamma Iota, past and present are bound by the bond of brotherhoodEducation
Education is the primary goal for the members of Delta Gamma Iota. In order to succeed members are expected to balance their academic and fraternal duties. A minimum grade point average of 2.2 is required by Delta Gamma Iota and the universities.
Philanthropy
Delta Gamma Iota believes community service provides a strong moral center to its members and improves the community they share. The fraternity and its members actively participate and volunteer in projects to better the community.
