psychologist ,philosopher and university teacher. He has written extensively on the decline of American society as a collaborative and inclusive construct, and on the effects of increasing inequality on the well-being of political and social groups. His book "Greed" is a series of essays which propose that American social order is in danger because of the rise of inequality and a culture of greed and selfishness. He deplores this state of affairs and explores the philosophical and economic processes that he says have contributed to such conditions as now exist, based largely on current life in the United States of America.
