Manchukuo in the 1930s, producing a variety of mostly military aircraft and aircraft components. It was named Manshū or Mansyū in short.The Manchukuo Aircraft Company was established in 1938 as a subsidiary of "Nakajima Hikoki KK" (
Nakajima Aircraft Company ) ofJapan . Its main plant was located inHarbin , and it produced a variety of aircraft under license production agreements:* Manshū Hayabusa I,II,III (30 units) fighter

From 1941 to 1945, Mansyū produced a total of 2196 airframes, of which 798 were combat aircraft. The company also produced 2168 aircraft engines. In addition, Mansyū provided for repair services to a variety of aircraft in the
Manchukuo Air Force and for theImperial Japanese Army Air Force units stationed in Manchukuo.*
