Upper Midwest Lacrosse League

Upper Midwest Lacrosse League

The Upper Midwest Lacrosse League (UMLL) is a conference in the Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA). The UMLL incorporates teams in Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota and Wisconsin and is divided into two divisions, Division I and Division II. College teams in Minnesota that were playing a loose schedule of tournament weekends decided in 1992 to organize into a league that had a specific schedule and end of the season tournament. Thus the formation of what has become the Upper Midwest Lacrosse League (UMLL). In 2000, the UMLL was accepted into the US Lacrosse Intercollegiate Associates.
