2004 , Anthony Burée, then a buyer for the [http://www.bcliquorstores.com/en BC Liquor Control Board] , met software engineer Greg Thomas and put together plans to form a new winery in the Okanagan Valley. Sean Salem, a Vancouver stockbroker, joined them in forming Enotecca Winery & Resort partnership.Winemaking Process
Le Vieux Pin berry-picks all of its grapes, yielding only 25 Hectolitres per
hectare . Grapes are hand-picked in the vineyard and , within only a few hours, transported to the winery where a dozen workers individually inspect each grape cluster before they are de-stemmed and inspected on the vibrating table where berries are sorted , again, to keep only the best fruit. Burée believes that this method is reflective of the great wineries of the world and yields the finest juice. Furthermore, he argues that the Okanagan Valley has excellent terroir for this goal. 1976 inSurrey, British Columbia and earned a degree in enology fromOkanagan University College . His professional experience includes work at wineries in British Columbia and Italy.
