Henry Irwin, a renowned architect of
British India was born on21 January ,1841 , inTarbett ,County Kerry ,Ireland . He is mainly known for his works inIndo-Saracenic style ofarchitecture . He was a member of theInstitution of Engineers . He died on5 August ,1922 , atOoty ,India .He had joined Public Works Department (PWD), India in the year 1886. He was a very active architect of India during the last quarter of the 19th century.
