The 1913 Atlantic hurricane season ran through the summer and the first half of fall in 1913. The 1913 season was a quiet one. Only five tropical cyclones formed during the season, though all but two became hurricanes.

Hurricane One

The first storm of the season was a Category 1 hurricane that struck Cancún, Mexico and Padre Island, Texas. This storm caused major flooding and killed one person.

Hurricane Four

The fourth storm was a Category 1 that came ashore near Cape Lookout, North Carolina. Though the storm was fairly weak, it still caused $3 million (1913 USD) in damage along the shoreline and two people were killed.

Hurricane Five

The fifth storm of the season was a hurricane that hit Charleston, South Carolina. Damage from this storm was minimal.
