Karamoh Kabba (born in 1965 in Koidu Town,
Kono District ,Sierra Leone ) is a Sierra Leoneanauthor ,writer ,novelist andjournalist . He has written several historic account about theSierra Leone civil war , such as "A Mother’s Saga: An Account of the Rebel War in Sierra Leone" and the self-published works "Lion Mountain" and "Morquee: A Political Drama of Wish over Wisdom". He has published several verses ofpoems on the Web site, Sierra Leone Web.Early life and education
An ethnic Mandingo, Karamoh Kabba was born raised in the diamond-rich mining town of Koidu Town,
Kono District in theEastern Province of Sierra Leone. His parents are Alhaji Kemoh Kabba and Madam Issata Kabba, both came from the Mandingo ethnic group. He attended the Kono District Education Council (K.D.E.C.) primary school in Koidu Town and theGovernment Secondary School for Boys (Boys School) inMagburaka inTonkolili District . Hisdiplomas include the GCE Ordinary and Advance Levels. In 1991, he traveled to theUnited States where he took some courses at theMontgomery College inMaryland . Kabba is the founder, president and chief executieve officer of Sierra Leone Youth Lending Hand, Inc. (SLYLH), anonprofit organization devoted to assisting the youth of Sierra Leone educationally and medically.External links
