Felton, California ) is a North Americanprofessional baseball player. A graduate ofSan Lorenzo Valley High School , he is a right-handed pitching prospect in theWashington Nationals organization.After graduation from high school, Carr attended
West Valley College andOklahoma State University . At OSU he was a utilityinfielder and was named to the all-Big 12 first team [http://www.okstate.com/ViewArticle.dbml?SPSID=1667&SPID=154&DB_OEM_ID=200&ATCLID=105742&Q_SEASON=2005] . He was selected by Washington in the 18th round of the 2007 amateur entry draft.Carr spent the 2006 season with the
GCL Nationals , Washington's affiliate in therookie -levelGulf Coast League , and with theSavannah Sand Gnats in the low-class-ASouth Atlantic League . He accrued an ERA of 3.38 in 16 total relief appearances with the two clubs.In 2007 Carr pitched for the
Potomac Nationals in the high-class-ACarolina League and for theHarrisburg Senators of the double-A Eastern League. He logged a total of 60⅔ innings in 48 relief appearances, winning 4 games, losing 1, saving 12, and recording a 1.78 ERA.External links
